Sycamore Street Ensemble presents “It’s A Wonderful Life” Benefiting McFarland Community Food Pantry
No holiday season would be complete without the nostalgic story It’s A Wonderful Life. Inspired by the classic American film, the Sycamore Street Ensemble recreates the fateful story of George Bailey’s life as a live 1940s Radio Broadcast. Take your seat as a member of the studio audience to relive the beloved tale of regret and redemption told through insightful storytelling, familiar characters and engaging sound effects. This very special event is the 1st Annual and all proceeds will benefit McFarland Community Food Pantry (MCFP).
The production will be staged at the McFarland High School Auditorium, located at 5101 Farwell Street in McFarland, Wisconsin. The performance is Friday, December 4th at 7:30 p.m.
The production comes complete with hot chocolate and lots of holiday cheer! Arrive early at 7 p.m. in the High School Food Court for refreshments and live caroling by student choir members. Attending this special event will surely put a smile on your face and warm your heart. This is the MCFP’s first annual fundraiser, and proceeds will contribute significantly to helping those in need in our community—especially during these trying financial times. There will be volunteers there to accept can goods also.
